Perhaps rape is the most convenient crime that could put down world leaders of today. This kind of lawsuit is mostly baseless, especially if without the help of laboratorial intervention to be able to come up with physical evidences. It is just the word of the claiming victim against word of the accused. Motivation may vary from personal advancement to political inclination.

Ang Dating Daan boycotts giant TV network GMA, Bro. Eli decries harassment
Manila, Philippines (6/23/09) – The congregation of the Members Church of God, International (MCGI), more popularly known as Ang Dating Daan (ADD) have declared a formal boycott on GMA, a giant television network in the country for its biased and uncalled-for airing of a case against its Presiding Minister filed by one he had excommunicated in 2005.
GMA7, through Case Unclosed anchored by Arnold Clavio, on the night of June 18, 2009, tackled the double rape case filed against Bro. Eliseo Soriano by Daniel Veridiano alias Puto. The preacher had excommunicated the complainant from MCGI way back in 2005 for raping some 14 of his subordinates, and misappropriating church funds for personal use. Failing to be forgiven and received back into the folds of MCGI, Veridiano joined the Iglesia ni Cristo, where Soriano is its most severe critic.
Manila, Philippines (6/18/09) – Mass messages had been going around the membership of the Ang Dating Daan (ADD), officially called Members Church of God International (MCGI) calling for the boycott of GMA, one of the greater TV stations in the country.

Central in Apalit
This is the Convention Center of the Church of God International (CGI), popularly known as Ang Dating Daan. It is the place where they hold Thanksgiving to God, various activities and very important events in their congregation. The Presiding Minister of CGI is Brother Eliseo Soriano and Vice-Presiding Minister is Brother Daniel Razon. It is located in the heart of the Municipality of Apalit, Pampanga, where majority of the residents of this place are poor families.
Central in Diliman
This is the Central Office of the Church of Manalo, popularly known as Iglesia ni Kristo (INK). The owners of this Church are the Manalo Family, a corporation sole, now headed by Mr. Eranio Manalo. It is located in Diliman, along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, where majority of the residents of this place are rich, educated, famous politicians and businessmen as shown by the facts in the records of the Mayor's Office of Quezon City, called as the wealthiest City in the Philippines for having the highest collection of taxes.
It was like any normal Sunday morning on April 27, except for the cloudy sky and mildly gushing of wind that was threatening for rain to fall. At the North Luzon Expressway toll gate in San Simon, Pampanga, at past 10 am, six gunshots, whose bang was mildly tempered by the wind that seems the incident?s tireless witness, tear the calm environ of this quiet area.
